One of the priorities for preventive work in the National Education System is the knowledge and fulfillment of the Educational Program for the prevention of drug use. The concern about the increase and consequences that come from the consumption of alcoholic beverages among adolescents and young people in the last 15 years is alarming, that is why anti-alcoholic education constitutes one of the thematic axes of the Health Promotion and Education Program. With the aim of directing, streamlining the search for concepts, easy reading and understanding of terms related to the subject by the teacher; a glossary has been prepared as an educational tool, to support the program, which allows to acquire knowledge about health and illness, promote healthy habits and lifestyles, as well as appropriate customs in the students, as an expression of greater effectiveness in the preventive work.
