Marti's intellectual biography is proposed as a prelude to the aspiration of Cuban teachers to train many Marti in our classrooms, it is considered that the first action for Marti's formation is to find answers to why Martí was that great man, what influenced his education and then we will be in a better position to contextualize those values ​​in our educational practice. Theoretical and empirical methods are used in order to reveal the essential relationships of the object process. The content of the article has been socialized in postgraduate courses, diplomas and teaching materials for managers, professors and teachers in training.
