The society prints to the scientific tutorship in the Education Superior determined characteristics conditioned by the development of the science and the innovation. What demands of her to be moderated to the demands of the scientific investigation and the contemporary innovation. The authors of the current document have meditated on the characteristics and challenges of the scientific tutorship to reach the objectives of the formation program, what contributes to the individual, collective and social development of the investigating futures, demands it systematic efforts that facilitate they are integrated to their context to contribute to the solution of the current educational problems. The study of the complexities of the scientific tutorship for a pertinent investigative practice is guided to develar the importance of forming knowledge, abilities and values that contribute to the investigative performance ways in the tutores/tutorados. The objective of the present work is to identify some characteristics that contribute to transform in a pertinent way this educational function to guide the work with students of the posgrado and to contribute to the changes in the acting investigator-tutor as a result of the practical experience of the authors, this experience he/she has its practical application in the logic of the continuous formation, of the university professors in any context.
