The multifaceted José Martí work´s, due to the virtues of the valuable legacy it contains, offers great possibilities to exert educational influence and contribute effectively to the integral formation of the human being, based on the unit of instruction and education. This is a significant example of the text "The truth about the United States", whose analysis and evaluation is the purpose of this work, associated with the results of the group that deals with the treatment of Martian labor in the research project "Professional Training of initial and continuing education”, of the Varona Educational Studies Center.
