The organizational climate enables the motivational and behavioral permanence of the human resource in the development of functions in a company in an efficient and effective manner, in the departmental comptrollers it generates the conducive environment for the officials that comprise them to carry out their activities in the best way, always seeking social and community well-being. In this sense, this article argues the importance of the organizational climate and its impact on the operation of departmental comptrollers, as well as its perception from the training of professionals for the Colombian context. It was developed from a qualitative approach, under a descriptive methodology, using documentary analysis of bibliographical references in updated scientific sources and legal texts approved in the Colombian and international context. The information indicates that promoting the organizational climate within the departmental comptrollers' offices entails the performance of more expeditious and honest functions in those who have been assigned to carry out the corresponding investments and expenses. It also reveals the need to promote environments of cooperation and respect in departmental comptrollers, which is developed from the professionals' own training.
