The advancement and systematization of educational practice allowed us to state theoretical considerations about professionalization from the perspective of Advanced Education. The process of professional and human improvement itself shapes the structure of the theory, forcing new studies and validations, as well as the development of the process of evaluation and intellectual production. The theory of Advanced Education itself has its specificities since it assumes the theory of knowledge and essentially qualitative research, without failing to incorporate the essentials of quantitative analysis in terms of promoting local development. The objective of this work is to socialize experiences on professionalization studies for local development from Advanced Education. For the development of the research, theoretical and empirical methods were used that made it possible to characterize the object of study as a phenomenon in constant transformation. The main result is the professionalization of human and community resources for local development as a transformative process, based on Advanced Education.
