The search for the best financial structure is currently still one of the most controversial entrepreneurial topics, precisely due to the fact that it has not yet been possible to reach a debt-patrimony rate which may satisfy the expectations on the matter. However, the bibliography addresses such issue as from a financial approach, where the main beneficiary is the owner of the entity, without including the existing relationship between this aspect and its impact on science, technology and society (CTS). The way in which an enterprise is financed not only affects its efficiency, the reasons for such relation, as well as the integration of the Cuban case analysis, in particular, are considered essential.
