Objective:
The paper aims at devising a new method for curricular assessment based on self-management and transformation emphasizing on controlling as a way for professional education improvement.
Methods:
The authoresses rely on theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis, functional structural systemic method and dialectical hermeneutic methods. Observation and documents reviews were also used.
Results:
The main finding is the description of the procedures of the transforming self-management method as an alternative for university major curricular assessment.
Conclusion:
The devised method favors the dynamics of self-management, transformation and improvement of mining engineers’ education by assessing quality and verifying professional identity specially in curricular areas.
