GONZALEZ RIVERA, Dayami. The impacts of the subject "distribution in plant" in the training of students for processes management in industrial engineering. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.2, pp. 23-27. ISSN 2218-3620.

After some curriculum changes and the inclusion of the subject "Distribution in Plant" in the Industrial Engineering major, the faculties at the University of Pinar del Rio analyze the impact and importance of this subject in the training of students. This stems from the subject benefits in relation to productivity, economy of motion, the decrease in accidents rate, the improvement of working environment, and the flexibility that continually allows the improvement of its design in processes without incurring in great expenses. Also, another element to be noted is the incidence of plant distribution in the accomplishment of strategic objectives of both industrial and service processes.
