Communication is a process of high importance in the educative work; therefore every professional of education should be ready to master the necessary skills so they can become competent communicators. The acquisition of a communicative competence is a demand for the performance of this profession and it takes special characteristics within it, since it is part of the formation and development of the students’ personality. Thus, the article focuses on the analysis of some theoretical conceptions about communicative competence and professional pedagogical communicative competence, which are necessary for the improvement of both the communicative process as a social necessity in the establishment of relationships, and its analysis as a tool for the pedagogical work and as a professional competence.
