In recent years, the presence of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning processes has led to a change in the conception of educational practices, and this mark begins to be considered a demand in each educational context. In this paper, it is reflected about the synergy theory which characterizes this process and it is outlined the orientation of the teaching practices change in Ecuador, based on the demands of the current academic system and the regulations of the university pedagogical and didactic model. The ideas presented are assumed as notes for everyday debate which demands greater teacher participation.
