Resumo

The article treats the omission of the epistolary like text with application potentialities in the subjects of the curriculum that approach the construction and interpretation of oral texts and writings, the speech, the exhibition, and aspects related with the communication in general. An analysis of the decline of the letters like media is made, and the abandonment inside the educational system as means to achieve strategic objectives in the promotion programs and animation of the reading, the spelling and the talkative competitions. The impact of the technologies of the information is sketched in the epistolary decline and it is exemplified with two antonomastics missive of the Martí epistolary the educational importance of these texts.
