The present work is an advance of the research project Procedural efficiency in the criminal prosecution of legal persons in Ecuador. It addresses theoretical, legal and empirical aspects of the problem that represents for private corporations, the cri minal regulation of legal persons in Ecuador, specifically the concerns or fears of its administrators. In order to respond to the stated objectives, after the bibliographic review and the collection of information supported by the collection method assisted by other methods that gave theoretical support to this research, we also applied interviews that allowed us to determine the empirical part of this work. This work is relevant given that it allows to know, three years after the implementation of the criminal responsibility of legal persons in Ecuador, the fears that represent for the companies, a possible criminal prosecution, as well as the tranquility that can be granted to them regulation of criminal compliance.
