The situation in Latin America and the Caribbean shows an uncertain economic, political, social, and environmental scenario that puts the region the opportunity to transform their development path, overcoming the inequalities and the gap between the advances that have led to legislation and the daily reality of women. Sustainable human development is today an imperative of survival, so it is necessary to involve the institutions and the citizens, men and women committed to the same aim. The participation of women in the economic sphere, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development is an indispensable objective to ensure the perenniality of the planet, the role that represents its action in the political, economic and family life. The Regional Agenda of gender for Latin America in particular synergy with the 2030 Agenda, provides objectives and strategies to achieve these purposes. Assess the legal and institutional framework for the development of these strategies to repair position uneven of the women in the critical areas of concern, which includes not only education and health, but also the contribution to the economy, the political decision-making processes and respect for the rights human, is the goal of our work.
