The research aims at improving the formation for managing university extension at the academic year level as one of the levels of integration in any degree program. The foundations for this process are established and its conceptual definition is presented. Finally a group of these, shaping our pedagogical conception is outlined. Theoretical and empirical methods were mainly used during the research. The training for managing university extension is seen in this proposal as a systemic contextualized process which shows essential relationships articulated through didactic components and it is structured in three stages.
