The possibilities offered by the participation of the family in the pedagogical process of the educational institution, as a synthesis and integration of the theoretical and political positions that are analyzed up to this moment, suppose the conception that is assumed as proposed in this article. The participation of the family in correspondence with the purposes of the educational institution is a position that must be assumed from broader and renovating conceptions that are inserted in tasks oriented to enhance, compensate, correct the development under the guidance of the manager, the teacher and they constitute a pedagogical response that recognizes the potentialities/needs of students and the possibilities and opportunities of the family members. The objective of the work is to establish the conditions for the participation of the family in the pedagogical process of the educational institutions. It is justified in the daily frames for families and teachers to converge, in addition of revealing that actions emerge as the axis that articulates both contexts with the experiences of everyday reality. This perspective confirms the conditions to achieve this and recognizes from the practice that empowerment, two-way communication, collaborative relationships and strategic approach can enhance such participation in the educational institution.
