The study describes theoretical references on aspects of research in teaching and learning, which is developed in educational institutions, describes arguments to be considered by the disciplines that form students committed to raising awareness about the construction of new knowledge; in the desire to contribute to the development of their environments. It is necessary to have a teaching staff involved in research issues capable of contributing to the development of their own environments. A compilation of several Ranking is also detailed in which a comparative is constructed for analysis and discussion.
