During the last 25 years, they have been increased in a dramatic way the number of people with addictions in the world. In the University of Cienfuegos, a project of university extension exists with the purpose of assuming an active list in the promotion of health from the school environment, where they are carried out stocks that you/they are good to promote responsible behaviors between the youths and its environment. To carry out educational-preventive activities, it arises starting from the necessity of to strengthen the preparation and to improve the quality of life, of students, professors and workers of the Ability of Education, with different types of addictions, which are based on the formation of these as promoters of health. It is in and of itself that starting from the investigation the necessary measures are adopted for the prevention and control of the addictions in the university context, achieving the exchange professor-student, the same one contributes to the benefit of healthy behaviors and to elevate the perception of risk to the I don't consummate of tobacco and alcohol. In the study it is assumed the qualitative methodology and their techniques from the application of interviews semiestructuradas, to know the frequency and the habits that he/she has the university community.
