Teaching in the university environment is marked by the need to adjust to the vertiginous changes that the environment is undergoing, the teacher must become, with an increasingly relevant character, a creative and innovative professional. The purpose of this research was to diagnose the perception of the use of learning and knowledge technologies and formative evaluation. The selected population were the students of the sixth cycle of the faculty of education of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Peru. To this end, statistical techniques and instruments were used to conclude that there is a lack of knowledge on the part of the students surveyed with respect to the topic in question. The causes that provoke this situation were analyzed and actions were proposed to mitigate them.
