The concern for the search for educational conditions capable of enhancing the emotional well-being of students in the Ecuadorian educational system, has generated the need to carry out the present work which aims to analyze the relationship between psychosocial factors and violent relationships in the Ecuadorian educational context. For the development of the work, a sample of eighth grade students was selected in a fiscal educational unit of the Province of Guayas, Ecuador. A set of empirical methods were applied to these students, such as: observation, semi-structured psychological interview, surveys of relatives and representatives of adolescents, as well as the Test of Harassment and School Violence (AVE) and the Questionnaire Assessment of Violence at School and Leisure. The data obtained were analyzed through tables and graphs, as well as through frequency analysis, from whose interpretation the unfavorable incidence of psychosocial factors, coming from the school and the family to which the students belong, is verified. issue that favors the existence of violent interpersonal relationships in these contexts.
