Strategic planning is a valuable management tool that allows organizations to define the scope of action for the achievement of institutional objectives and adaptation to changes in the context. In this sense, the Escuela de Educación Superior Pedagógica Pública Arequipa, committed to the implementation and continuous improvement of its processes, reintegrates since 2019 the strategic planning by processes as an axis for institutional management. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the achievements of the strategic objectives of the Institutional Educational Project (PEI) 2021-2022, defined as quantitative research with descriptive design. The PEI fact sheets on the achievement of goals and indicators, the survey questionnaire addressed to heads, coordinators and students were used as data collection instruments. The information was processed with the CONAGI application, the results of which indicate that the evaluation of the PEI significantly favors the decision-making process.
