One of the problems that employees present the most is work-related musculoskeletal injuries, the injuries are more related to administrative work, since it has many predisposing factors to the appearance of neuromuscular osteoarthritis disorders. Office work can carry some ergonomic risks that are affecting the health and well-being of the employee. The method used: cross-sectional research, with the application of a questionnaire validated by expert judgment, evaluating three stages: characteristics of the sociodemographic situation, clinics, and lifestyles related to the work carried out by university administrative personnel with a sample of 108 employees distributed in the four faculties and central plant. Among the results achieved, the highest percentage of employees surveyed corresponds to the female sex with 68.5%, working time of 60.18% of more than five years, the area of greatest pain and discomfort is the neck area. , shoulder and dorsal region with 65% of positive responses for maintenance of discomfort during the last 12 months, with a posture with a greater tendency to tilt the neck and back, repetitive actions and non-ergonomic technological tools (keyboard and mouse) for the job, lifestyles directed towards a sedentary lifestyle and mostly overweight. Hence, the following conclusions are reached, despite the existence of pain and discomfort in the musculoskeletal areas of the neck, shoulders, back and hands in employees, work activity has not been prevented; In addition, the existence of inappropriate technological resources risks accentuating ergonomic problems.
