In the development, considerations about human aging are addressed, the objective focused on the analysis of the theoretical ideas that underpin human aging, establishing the position taken from the personal considerations emanating from the study of the concepts of healthy, physiological, satisfactory aging. or healthy, active life expectancy, of the consequences that an increase in life expectancy would bring, but without quality of life, health promotion in the aging process and self-care in older adults. The result of carrying out the task is presented in the position taken and the considerations of the subject, analyzing that the concepts of healthy, satisfactory or healthy, physiological, successful aging, active life expectancy, complement each other, then, the expectation o Life expectancy is related to the quality of life from the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and occupational well-being that allows the individual to appropriately satisfy their individual and collective needs and in this, health promotion must start from an early age , enabling healthy and healthy lifestyles, which influence the aging process, by applying good practices, is considered timely and necessary in older adults to promote their self-care, which will not be possible in those with physical or metal limitations.
