A descriptive and retrospective study of the patients with diagnosis of Reiter´s syndrome treated at the National Service of Rheumatology during 2 years was conducted. The initial group was composed of 23 patients, of whom 6 were excluded since they were not useful or concluding. The general elements of this arthropathy, the most frequent clinical signs of the syndrome, the laboratory and radiological alterations observed during admission, the evolution of the disease and the therapeutic used were studied. It was found that all patients were males with an average age of 22.7 % yearse old. The postdysenteryc form was the commonest and the knee was the predominant inflammatory localization. The greatest HLA B 27 histocompatibility antigen was present in 11 of the 14 patients that received it. The satisfactory response obtained with the use of indomethacin was stressed.
