VALIENTE MUSTELIER, Juan; ROMAN, Pedro e ALVAREZ PLASENCIA, Reinier. Triauricular heart: Non-invasive diagnosis during pregnancy. Rev cubana med [online]. 2005, vol.44, n.3-4, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-302X.
Triauricular heart is a congenital heart disease that is mostly diagnosed during childhood. It may appear isolated or associated with another heart disease. The case of a pregnant woman who was diagnosed a triauricular heart ( cor triatriatum sinester ) on the second quarter of pregnancy by transthoracic echocardiography, was reported. The patient was mildly symptomatic and had palpitations. She evolved satisfactorily during the whole pregnancy and she was closely followed-up by the cardiologist. She had a transpelvic delivery. Complications were not observed either in the newborn, or in the mother.
