The paper sets forth an approach to the understanding of violence and its macrosocial, microsocial and individual determinants on the basis of a systemic approach that takes the concept of activity as a fundamental methodological element and at the same time establishes the materialization of violence as a way of life at most general levels and as a life style on an individual basis.
