A statistical annual summarizing the work done in the information health institutions of Santiago de Cuba province in the period 2009 to 2012 was presented, which includes the assessment of empiric, theoretical, methodological, and regulatory and legislatives aspects that govern scientific-informative activity such as specialized comments, notes and technical reports by the specialists of the Provincial Information Center of Medical Sciences. With this annual it was aimed at contributing to the regulation of this activity in the units of the provincial network, maintaining effective and updated promotion and dissemination of their respective advances and trends in scientific and technical fields, as well as providing a channel of exchange of knowledge and experiences with disciplines of related and health sciences
