Cárdenas is a well-known historical city as the "Ciudad de las Primicias". It exhibits significant contributions to the Medicine and it stores medical first sights that reflect their paper in the Cuban Medicine. The Technologies of Information and Communications mark the distinction of this historical moment in connection with the knowledge of the past. We settled as objective to elaborate an educational software to contribute to elevate the level of the students of Medicine of the municipality knowledge about the history of the Medicine in the town. "HisMedCar", it was developed in the University Polyclinic José Antonio Echeverría between September of 2009 and January of 2010. Was proven first that a similar product didn't exist to this. For the making of the software it was used: editor of pages Webs Macromedia Dreamweaver version 8, PhotoShop version Marinate 9 and Xara WebStyle version 3. The product consists of basic text, galleries of images and digital books. The universe was constituted by 105 students of Medicine, Stomatology and Psychology and a sample of 53 was used that consented in participating in the study. An initial survey was applied on the topic which threw 20% of the total of evaluated students of Regulating and 70% evaluated of Bad. It was demonstrated, after the application of the software, a significant improvement of the level of knowledge when prevailing evaluated students of Well representing 90% of the total while none was evaluated of Bad. 100% of those interviewed possesses a high level of satisfaction with the use of the product.
