PEREZ-ARMAYOR, Dania; LEON-ALEN, Eduardo Octavio; RACET-VALDES, Ariel  e  DIAZ-BATISTA, José Antonio. Funcionalidades de Sistemas de Planificación de Recursos Empresariales para Cadenas de Suministro: Functionalities of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems for Supply Chain Integration. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.2, pp. 155-166. ISSN 1815-5936.

Nowadays, enterprise resource planning systems (ERP systems), in addition to help improving the relations and the intra-enterprise efficiency, include elements that facilitate inter-enterprise cooperation in response to the need for organizations to come together in supply chains. As a consequence, the Ministry of Informatics and Communications, along with other Cuban organizations, are planning the development of an ERP system developed in Cuba (named Cedrux system), which includes functionalities that support the integration of supply chains. This paper aims to analyze the functionalities that Cedrux should have in order to support a successful supply chain management. Bibliographic searches and interviews to Cedrux developers were conducted, in order to complement this analysis. As a result is suggested the inclusion of modules for supply chain management and the development of specialized applications in specific roles within the supply chain.

Palavras-chave : ERP systems; supply chains; inter-organizational collaboration.
