The objective of the article is to develop a proposal for the application of project-based learning (PBL) with students of unfinished school in the Vilcabamba parish of the province of Loja to increase their motivation and satisfaction. For its fulfillment it has been necessary to develop an investigation of type applied according to Hernández and Mendoza (2018), who recognize it as a research oriented to the transformation of practice, for this purpose interviews, observations and surveys were carried out, where the IADOV survey stands out, from which it was possible to determine the level of student satisfaction with PBL before and after applying it. The procedural sequence was specified to develop the PBL proposal for the Language and Literature subject at the PCEI Vilcabamba High School. The results obtained from the diagnosis determined that there was a low level of satisfaction and motivation among the students prior to the implementation of the proposal. which changed significantly after applying it, obtaining a high satisfaction rate, the authors assumed a procedural sequence based on Galeana (2016) that emphasizes cooperation and teamwork.
