Critical thinking is that skill that people develop according to their professional growth and studies, and through which allows them to make a successful decision-making process, due to the decisive capacity that has gained from the growth in knowledge and personal and professional experiences. An activity that undoubtedly contributes to raise the level of critical thinking of people is reading, because through it the senses are activated, information is accumulated and different realities are studied, which generates a higher activation in the decision-making process. In the research area, critical thinking helps to encourage the study to be more analytical and profound, which makes this study more reliable. In this literature review work, it will be searched through the selected scientific works, to show the importance of critical thinking in the development and improvement of research.
