This article intends to offer a constitutional interpretation that will harmonize and complement the principles of unpaid education and educational equity. Thus, by the means of specialized literature in the fields of education and educational policies. It will shed some light upon the former constitutional principles in order to pursue a more inclusive university education. In fact, the Argentinean public university, despite of not charging any fee to its students, has significantly high rates of school dropouts. This article will argue that, in order to increase the graduation rates, it is desirable to offer some mentoring in the specification of the “cost of opportunity” of university studies in a realistic and concrete way.
