The experience obtained by using a combination of the techniques of Stentröm-Kaye and Elliot with modifications in described. This method is based on the investigations made by Gibson and Davis (1958), who demonstrated the cartilague`s trend to distort when one of the surface is cut. The highest incidence was observed in the group age 15-19 (70 %). Males prevailed with 46 patients. The right ear was the most affected. The antihelix was the most affected anatomical region. No significant relationship was found between sex and the casuses of prominent ears on applying the Chi-square test. This technique was used in 75 % of the series. 91.7 % of the cases were evaluated as good. Only a few complications (5 %) were observed. There was no relapse. The patients and their relatives were satisfisfied with the results
