A 28-year-old patient, who was operated on at "Celia Sánchez Manduley" Provincial Clinical and Surgical Hospital for presenting a peritoneal picture, in which diffuse fibrinopurulent peritonitis was confirmed, caused by a Meckel’s diverticulum perforated by a foreign body, is presented. The treatment consisted in intestinal resection and terminoterminal anastomosis. The postoperative evolution was satisfactory
