Lumbar hernias are extremely -+rare and they are occasionally reported. The hernias occurred through the superior lumbar space or triangle of Grynfeltt-Lesshaft, which is more constant and larger, appear more often than those developed through the lumbar triangle of Petit. 2 patients who were diagnosed and surgically treated due to this affection are reported
