The surgical technique used from 1990 in the "Celia Sánchez Manduley" Clinical Surgical Teaching Provincial Hospital in Manzanillo, Gramma province to carry out the gastrectomy together with the standard lymphadenectomy in patients carriers of a gastric adenocarcinoma, allowing application of the current oncologic and surgical concepts of the Japanese Society for Research of Gastric Cancer, essential to obtain a better prognosis in these patients.
