Generally, they are tumors with a low degree of malignancy and frequent recurrence. A 51 year - old patient was studied who, for more than 10 years, presented few symptoms and a slow growth, reaching 20 cm in the retroperitoneum. The surgical procedure performed was satisfactory.

Keywords : tumor; retroperitoneum; extragonadal; granulosa cells.
