Hypophyseal adenomas are bening neoplasias that appear with some frequency in medical practice. Their varied symptomatology comprises disciplines as Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology and Neurosurgery, among others. The treatment, surgical in many cases, prognosticates excellent results with the use of several techniques, among which the trans-septosphenoidal surgery stands out. By this technique, the hypophysis is approached through the anterosuperior sector of the buccal cavity, exposing a field closely related to tooth structures. The case of a 38-year-old female patient who was seen at the dental clinic due to a change of color in the 2 central upper incisors without apparent cause of chromatic pathology and with the sole antecedent of having been operated on of a hypophyseal adenoma through the internal portion of the upper lip, was reported. Literature was reviewed and some criteria were dealt with that stated that the use of the above-mentioned technique may produce this tooth alteration
