Due to the growing interest that distalization of distal sectors has aroused, it was decided to delve into this topic to find out the distalization techniques in use worldwide. To this end, a literature review was made in the reference centers of the capital and on Internet. It was determined that at present the NiTi coils are widely used in most of modern distalization techniques since they are more effective than repelling magnets. Nevertheless, successful removable techniques are also being developed.
