Abstract

CADIZ LAHENS, Armando et al. Pasteurización de soluciones de inmunoglobulinas de uso intravenoso. 1.: Uso de azúcares como estabilizantes. Rev Cubana Farm [online]. 1999, vol.33, n.2, pp.83-88. ISSN 0034-7515.

Pasteurization from the union of II supernatants of 4 batches of normal plasma subjected to alcoholic fractionation was carried out using following stabilizers: sorbitol, sacarose and 30 % dextrose. The level of molecular aggregation wass determined by gel- filtration chromatography. Sorbitol exhibited the best results with polymer formation ranging from 10 - 15 %; the values match those reported by other authors. According to WHO requirements, these polymers should be eliminated through other procedures for obtaining values under 10 %.

Keywords : HEAT; ESTERILIZATION [methods]; IMMUNOGLOBULINS INTRAVENOUS [isolation & purification]; IGG [isolation & purification].
