Based on the wide production of articles published about oestrogens, the present paper focused its attention on the study of estriol, for which it was used most of the information existing in the country in journals and documents of patents, and on magnetic support. Data since the first estrogenic hormone was isolated up to now, including the derivates of estriol, and its new applications in the medical field and in animal feeding are included here.
