Hydrodynamic characteristics of carboxymethylchitin and carboxymethylchitosan. A study was conducted on the physical and chemical properties of 3 carboxymethylate derivates synthetized from chitin obtained from lobster carapasses in Cuba. Also, the hydrodynamic performance of these susbstance solutions was analyzed to determine their polyelectrolite features and the molar mass values of each of them.
