Resumen

BILBAO ABRAHAM, Yuria; VALDES DIEZ, Lilliam  y  BLANCO LOPEZ, Yasmín T. Inmovilización covalente de glucosa oxidasa y peroxidasa. Rev Cubana Farm [online]. 2000, vol.34, n.2, pp.108-112. ISSN 0034-7515.

Due to their catalytic function, enzimes have a wide application in a considerable number of technological processes and during the last l5 years there have been significant advances in industry. Within the Pharmaceutical and Biological Industry, that one devoted to diagnostic tools have also received the impact of the introduction of this type of products, supporting at present technologies as important as the enzime immunoassay, the diagnosis in clinical chemistry and dry chemistry, where the immobilization techniques attain an increasingly higher development as a result of the increase of stability achieved with these systems. Covalent immbolization assays of glucose oxidase and peroxidase of Whatman No. 2 filter paper are presented. 2 variants were assayed: the covalent immobilization of a soluble polymer of enzymes and the covalent immobilizaton of a solution of free enzymes. The results of the process were evaluated against reference glucose solutions in concentrations between 2,0 and 55,0 mmol/L. The best responses were obtained with the lowest immobilization percent in the case of the polymer binding, whereas the highest degree of immobilization was obtained with the solution of free enzimes.

Palabras clave : ENZYMES, IMMBOLIZED [metabolism]; GLUCOSE OXIDASE [metabolism]; PEROXIDASES [metabolism].
