The application of the micronization stage with pharmaceutical ends in active principles used to make aerosols and injections and commom excipients used for making solid forms by utilizing air-blast micronizing mills was studied. The size of the particles was determined by means of optical microscopy as identification and it was compared with the limits reported by the clients; whereas the size of the particle of the micronized product was quantitatively determined by laser diffractometry as control of the process and quality of the final product. Satisfactory results were obtained in each case.
