The reformulation of chlorpromazine hydrochloride 25 mg in the form of coated tablets was carried out. The technological process was designed from the making of the nuclei to the coating formulation in aqueous system that is feasible for its introduction at a pilot scale. The tablets obtained have a physical and chemical stability in the course of time and keep its potency within the therapeutic limits for 2 years.
