An analytical, easy and economic method applicable to the quality control of sodium picosulphate oral drops 0.75 % was developed and validated. The parameters of specificity, lineality, exactness and precision were evaluated. The results attained by parameters analyzed in the validation of the method were within the established limits. The applied analytical method proved to be lineal, precise, specific and exact in the range of the studied concentrations.
