The serologic typing of HLA B27 antigen was perfomed in 19 patients presenting with seronegative spondyloarthropathies in order to know its relationship. Of them 6 patients were found to be positive; 94 healthy subjects were inclkuded in the control group and 4 presented with the antigen. Results reported suggest the presence of additional genes to B27 in patients presenting with this group of diseases.
