Psoriasis has been a challenge for dermatologists for centuries and numerous investigations have been made to try to discover the primary biochemical alteration that produces this hyperproliferative dermatosis. However, it is still difficult to determine and that's why its cause is unknown nowadays. This review was made to show the newest pathogenic aspects of this entity to the light of the present knowledge
