The crisis of the clinical method is a constant concern for health experts comprising highly sensitive aspects of medical practice, which has led to the present literature review with the objective of improving the level of professionalism of our physicians and of encouraging them to acquire better skills in their daily medical practice, as an undeniable formulation for the adequate diagnosis and care of the patient. It is said that the clinical method is scientific or experimental method of science applied to a patient's care, but the phase of the experiment is here replaced by foolishly diagnostic technology. Adequate clinical practice should be the excellence of the clinical application method. For the proper application of the clinical method is considered as basic principles: a good doctor-patient relationship, the individual patient management, the use of elemental clinic with emphasis on history and physical examination as well as the value and place of technology in the diagnosis. It is necessary to know that in our time clinic and its method acquire an even greater value than in the past, teachers have a duty to educate their students, by example and word in the refined use and excellence clinical method.
