A review of the medical literature on polyorchidism is carried out, and it is confirmed that this is the first diagnosed case in the province of Cienfuegos, and the second case in Cuba. An embryological analysis of the affection is made, as well as its historical sketch. The case is that of a 6 years old boy, diagnosed with an ectopic supernumerary testicle in the medial third of the right inguinal canal, which was surgically treated for a communicating hydrocele. The case is presented, and the photographs from the ultrasonography are shown.
